About Us

Team Truth is a dedicated non-profit organization established in 2017, focused on empowering youth in the Greater Toronto Area through future goal planning and social inclusion. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to develop self-confidence, self-discipline, and a healthy self-image within a supportive community.

At Team Truth, we create a safe environment where youth can thrive and discover their potential. Our mission is to provide access to a range of local, national, and international opportunities for young athletes, enabling them to pursue private school education while honing their athletic skills.

Money Smart: Youth Financial Literacy Program

At Money Smart, we help students build a strong foundation in financial literacy by teaching essential life skills like saving, spending wisely, managing income, setting goals, and taking responsibility for their financial future. Youth Mentorship & Life Skills

Guiding the Whole Person — At Home, at School, and in the Community

Youth Mentorship & Life Skills is a holistic support program designed to guide young people through life’s challenges and transitions — whether at school, at home, or in social settings. Through personalized mentorship, youth gain tools to navigate relationships, build confidence, and make positive choices.

Participants engage in 1-on-1 and group mentoring sessions while also gaining hands-on experience by volunteering in one of our core programs: Cub Hoops or Dev League. This gives youth a chance to grow as leaders, build responsibility, and contribute to their community in meaningful ways.

Pathways to Higher Learning is a cost-free program designed to help youth understand and prepare for their journey toward college, university, or skilled careers. Through hands-on support and one-on-one mentorship, we guide students through every step of their academic and career planning — from choosing the right high school courses to exploring post-secondary options, financial aid, and personal goals.

We work with students to uncover their strengths, identify their “why,” and connect them with mentors and resources that help them make informed decisions about their future.
